Thailand first participated at the Olympics Games in 1952.Thailand has also participated in the Winter Olympics Games since 2002. Thai athletes have won a total of 21 medals, mostly in Boxing. and Thailand's most sucessful Games to date were the 2004 Games in Athens, where they won 8 medals(gold-3, broze-10). In 2008 they won 4 medals (gold-2,silver-2) which from weightlifting, boxing, and taekwondo.
