Great Italy and the Olympics



Italy and the Olympics.







Italy attended their first Olympics in 1896 in Athene, but they didn't win any medals.
In 1900 italy won 2 gold and 2 silver medals.
Italy have won 522 medals in the summer and 101 in the winter olympic games since 1900.

Italy has host the Olympics 3 times.
The 1st time the winter olimpic games in 1956 in Cortina D' Ampenzzo.
The 2nd time the summer olimpic games in 1960 in Rome.
The 3rd time the winter olimpic games in 2006 in Turin where they won 5 gold and 6 bronze medals.
